The first issue of Decora Day, an event held by High Design Expo in partnership with Shopping D&D and Viva Decora, with the support of De'Longhi, gathered last Wednesday (09/11) more than 300 guests - between retail and Furniture and decoration industry - at the WTC Theater in São Paulo.
Presenters had the opportunity to hear from eight technology, marketing, digital platform and event experts who shared their experiences on these markets and shared tips for practical applications in the design, decoration, architecture, and furniture segment.
In the first round of lectures, passed the professional stage of Facebook, Portobello, A2C, Expo Revestir, DW! And HIGH DESIGN - the latter three represented by Lauro Andrade, director of the High Design Expo. Soon after the break, it was the turn of companies like In Loco Media, Viva Decora, RD Station and Pinterest to give their message.
The question that permeated the presentations was "How can industry, retail, online media and events work together to generate business benefits and deliver value to their customers?". Each of the speakers took their proposal to the question and the result pleased the audience, who, at the end of the event, was able to fraternize in a happy hour offered by the organizers.
"The content, delivered clearly and objectively by the speakers, helps us to better understand the digital universe, which only tends to grow in the coming years, and its impact on our business. The theme could not be more current and pertinent, "says Arthur Norgren of Contain[it]. For Carolina Azevedo of Shaw Contract, "Decora Day was a very interesting and enlightening event. I consider myself a heavy user, always connected in the digital world. Everything I heard at the event proved that I'm on the right track to win more customers and better relate to the market, expanding my connections," she says.
The event organizers: Angelo Derenze (D&D), Michel Wajs (Viva Decora) and Lauro Andrade (High Design Expo)
For Roberto Zuccolo, director general of the Warehouse, "it was fundamental to have gone to the event. It was super interesting to hear about all this digital part, which in our decoration market is still super little explored. All the speakers were able to show various opportunities for us shopkeepers, and also for the architects and decorators, to explore. We get out of there with a lot of ideas, with an action plan on how to introduce more quickly this whole mobile and digital part”.
Soon, we will post more content about the event here so that you can also enjoy this important knowledge. And next year there's more Decora Day!
